On-site and virtual consultation and training experiences are designed to fit you or your organization. I provide consultation for therapists and training for group practices in all components of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), including mindfulness, as applied to work with adults. Please contact me directly to discuss your training needs or see below for current offerings.
I offer comprehensive beginning, intermediate, and advance training in ACT through my practice and in partnership with the Cognitive Behavior Institute (CBI) Center for Education. Current offerings include:
Introduction to ACT (2 hours)
ACT: Theory and Practice 4-Day Intensive (22.5 hours)
The ACT Training Program will also be offering ACT for Anxiety, and ACT for Depression, as well as small group consultation. Additional topics are in development by Dr. Emily Wharton and myself .
My trainings are designed to be clear without over simplifying key information. I include experiential exercises and live therapy demonstrations, and work to build connection and community, even in a virtual format. Please contact me for further information about my current offerings, or to learn about customizing a training for your group.
I offer individual and group consultation for therapists of all levels interested in incorporating ACT in their practice. Whether this is your first case, or you have multiple clients you are working with, I will help you feel confident that you are incorporating ACT flexibly and in adherence with the underlying theory and best practices. Please contact me if you are interested in arranging for in-person or virtual consultation.
