I am a Clinical Psychologist in independent practice for more than 15 years. I have been on faculty at Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine for more than 20 years.

I received my BA in Psychology at Washington University in St. Louis, and my MA and PhD in Clinical Psychology at Binghamton University (SUNY). I completed my internship at the San Francisco VA Medical Center, and received post-doctoral training at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Oakland, California.

In 1997 I moved to Chicago to serve as Staff Psychologist and Assistant Director of Training at the  Outpatient Treatment Center, Stone Institute of Psychiatry, Northwestern Memorial Hospital. My next position was Assistant Director of Medical Services at Trilogy Community Mental Health Center in Chicago.

I have maintained an independent practice since 2003 and have stayed active as Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine, where I teach the graduate level course on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

Currently, I am serving on the Board of Directors of ACBS Chicago Chapter (the organization that houses ACT related endeavors).
